Job Responsibility:
- Ensure licensing, health, and safety regulations/requirements from the regulatory agencies are met.
- Responsible for enrolments to maximize school capacity with certain marketing strategies
- Display strong time management and planning skills as well as able to lead a team of early childhood professionals to achieve school yearly targets.
- Able to write practicable Standard Operation Procedures based on school premises and operation, especially Routine SOP and Safety SOP.
- Mentor teachers in curriculum planning and implementation of teaching
- Supervise school SOP to be in place.
- Guide and coach staff to maximize their competencies, professional development, and relationships with parents and colleagues
- Establish and maintain effective communication and interpersonal skills with parents and stakeholders, including ECDA officers.
- Needs to be objective, emotionally stable, capable to report work progress to the Director in a timely manner, and capable of converting the director's comments into an action plan.
- Supervise daily operations including Cleaner and Cook to ensure food/environment hygiene in school.
- Budgets planning and control budget expenditures
- Organise school events and projects
Job Requirements:
- Certified by Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) as Principal/Supervisor.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience (Inquiry-based preferrable)
- At least 3 years of supervisor/management experience on top of teaching experience in a childcare/preschool.
- Goal Oriented supervisor.
- Skills required: Time management/Communication skill/Self-reflection skill.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin is preferred.
