SAP ABAP Consultant
Roles & Responsibility
- Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying application issues and providing timely solutions.
- Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation phases of project.
- Transform business function requirements into technical program specs to code, test and debug programs.
- Develop, code, document and execute unit tests, systems, integration and acceptance tests and testing tools for functions of high complexity.
- Perform performance tuning to improve performance over multiple functions.
- Engage other technical team members in the design, delivery, and deployment of solutions.
- Ensure integration system activities including monitoring the technical architecture (particularly scalability, availability and archiving) meet all SLA's.
- Manage operational support, performing work during change windows as well as providing on call support as required by the team. Undertake performance tuning activities for SAP integration activities. Mentor and coach junior developer resources.
- Provide consulting services on new and existing initiatives.
Requirement
- Hands on experience (6-8+) with ABAP on both ECC6.0 and SAP S/4 HANA environment
Developed reports like ABAP Query, Interactive, and ALV - Written the routines for BI module.
- Well acquainted with tools like Data Dictionary, ABAP Debugger in ABAP/4 Workbench & Remote Debugging and Object Navigator.
- Troubleshoot and experience in code correction on SAP Standard Objects.
- Experience in enhancements of standard SAP reports for different modules.
- Worked on BDC, Scripts, SMARTFORMS and user interactive adobe forms.
- Worked on Webdynpro, ABAP OOPS
- Worked on RFC, IDOC, BADI, BAPI, and USER EXITS.
- Worked on Change & Transport Management (CTS).
- Knowledge on SAP Functional areas like OTC, P2P, FTM etc.
- Must-have Good hands on experience in Interface Programming.
- Handling SAP Workflow issues / error
- Develop and enhance ABAP programs within the SAP S/4HANA framework.
- Experience with SAP Fiori, CDS Views, and OData services for S/4 HANA
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA data models and architecture.
- Good communication skills and stakeholder management
