Facility Management Officer

As the Facility Management Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of our office building at Hill Street. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing facility operations, as well as fire safety measures and protocols.


Job SCOPE:

  1. Facility Operations Management:Oversee day-to-day operations of the office building, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for our employees and guests.
    Develop and implement effective maintenance programs to enhance the longevity of building systems and equipment. Including and not limited to i.e., Environment Monitoring System (EMS), Building Management System. UPS, power, temperature control, humidity, water detection sensor etc.
    Collaborate with vendors and contractors to coordinate maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
    Prepare and maintain Master Maintenance Schedule and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure maintenance work are carried out as planned.
    Ensure that all technical issues are resolved in accordance to the agreed SLA.
  2. Fire Safety Management:Serve as the designated Fire Safety Manager in accordance with local regulations and guidelines.
    Review, implement and regularly update comprehensive fire safety plans, procedures, and evacuation protocols in accordance to local regulations.
    Conduct regular fire drills and training sessions for building occupants.
    Ensure that fire safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers, alarms, and sprinkler systems, are properly maintained and in compliance with standards.
    Develop and maintain emergency response plans for various scenarios, including fire emergencies, and ensure all staff are trained accordingly.
    Coordinate with relevant authorities and emergency services to enhance the building's emergency response capabilities.

  3. Regulatory Compliance:Stay updated on relevant local regulations and codes related to building management and fire safety.
    Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, permits, and licenses.
    Support internal and external audit reviews to the expending and contracts of renovation and maintenances works
  4. Budget Management:Manage the facility budget effectively, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising safety or quality.
    Provide input for budget planning, forecasting, and capital expenditure related to facility management.
    Prepare and submit necessary PR/PO for works required.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or equivalent in either Estate Management, Facility Management, Engineering in Mechanical or Electrical related.
  • Proven experience in facility management, with a focus on fire safety.
  • Certification as a Fire Safety Manager.
  • Strong team-player, with natural ability to interact with all levels of staff.
  • Enjoy problem solving and challenging status-quo
  • Good interpersonal, project management, stakeholder management
