Job Summary
This role has a direct reporting line to the CFO at SSW. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting all Business Units (BU) under the SSW Group, currently consisting of SSW and SSW Logistics on all finance-related matters, including financial analysis, cost modeling, preparation and review of monthly and annual accounts, annual budgets, and forecasts. The Finance Manager shall ensure that the accounting records for all entities under SSW Group are consistently in good and proper order for annual audit and statutory reporting purposes.
Role and Responsibilities
· Prepare monthly, annual, and quarterly management and financial reports on a timely basis.
· Prepare annual budget and forecast(s) in collaboration with the BU’s leadership team.
· Prepare financial profitability and variance analysis between actuals, budget, and forecast on a monthly/periodic basis.
· Responsible for regulatory submissions and management of all tax matters, draft tax computations, and GST returns.
· Review and implement internal processes and, controls.
· Perform Receivables, Collections and Insurance
· Ensure compliance with proper governance, controls, and process requirements.
· Prepare project costing, investment analysis, financial modeling, and projections as required for approvals at Management and/or Board levels.
· Liaise with auditors, government agencies, financial institutions, and tax agents as and when relevant.
· Oversee the completion of audits to ensure statutory accounts are properly and duly completed on time.
· Plan and execute fixed asset verification exercises as may be required.
· Oversee the BU’s procurement process, review and approve purchases and payments according to the relevant approval matrix.
· Conduct a review of the cash conversion cycle, and monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.
· Assist the CFO in the preparation of materials and reports for Board, Audit, and other Committee Meetings.
· Assist the Heads of BU on all business matters as may be directed.
. Undertake any ad hoc assignments as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
· Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent
· Professional qualifications like CA or similar qualifications will be advantageous
· 8-10 years of relevant working experience with at least 3-5 years in a managerial capacity
· Technically competent with solid knowledge of local accounting standards and practices and Income Tax Act provisions.
· Independent and able to work under tight deadlines and resource constraints.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, meticulous, proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc. and accounting software
· Possess high integrity, and has strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
· Self-motivated, well-organized, and results-oriented
· Able to interact well with Senior Leaders (Management and/or Company Directors)

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 8.30am to 6pm
Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm
