KEY ACTIVITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsibilities will largely depend on the employees capacities but include (or may include) :
- Handling of shipments & documentation from A to Z
- Daily Reporting of project shipments as per client requirements
- Coordinate ocean freight shipments and transport arrangements
- Build and maintain good rapport with customers to fulfill their requirements
- Book services with co-loaders & shipping line for export
- Import and export permit declarations and custom clearance
- Process customers' orders promptly and prepare billings/invoices
- Work closely with internal departments to coordinate customers' shipments
ESSENTIAL EDUCATIONAL AND / OR TRAINING QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATES
- GCE O level qualification and above required
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
- At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Understanding of the local freight market (carriers and subcontractors) preferred.
