Brief description of the Restaurant
La Saigon is setup in 2018 to promote the goodness of Vietnamese food and coffee to the world. Our foods are prepared daily using fresh ingredient and premium produce. Traditional Vietnamese herbs and recipes are used to bring out the original taste of Vietnamese cuisine such as Pho, Banh Mi, Bun and Spring Roll. All our coffee beans are sourced directly from the volcanic highland of Vietnam and roasted locally in Singapore. Every cup is freshly grinded and brewed before we serve to customers.
Job Descriptions
- Assist head chef with food prep tasks like chopping, peeling, and marinating.
- Help with cooking simple dishes under the supervision of our head chef.
- Ensure all kitchen tools and equipment are cleaned and stored properly.
- Carry out kitchen inventory checks, and report shortages to the management.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Any other matters required by the head chef and management.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not necessary. Training will be provided.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and health and safety regulations.
- Passion for food and the hospitality industry.
Working hours
- 6days, 8hrs per day
