RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in all food preparation and help to run the station that he is assigned to efficiently.
- Learn the knowledge of all preparation concerning ingredients, cooking techniques and presentation.
- Supply enough mise-en-place and ensure smooth operation.
- Ensures quality and freshness of all food preparation.
- Make sure the station runs efficiently.
- Make sure all items and products needed are within sufficient quantity.
- Stock food items neatly in shelves and fridges.
- Keep the section that he is assigned to clean and in good working order.
- Exercise personal hygiene and ensure utensils and equipment are clean.
- Work according to standard recipes.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by superiors
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum culinary certificate or equivalent with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Possess positive attitude towards task assigned.
- Eager to learn and progress.
- Ability to transfer what has been learnt/taught and to practice effectively.
- Willingness to do shift work.
