Assistant Project Engineer

Asiatic Fire System Pte Ltd

Key Responsibilities and tasks:

1. Reports to Project Manager on tasks/project status.

2. Handle projects for design and engineering of fire protection systems (Foam, Deluge, Novec, FM200, Water Mist, CO2 etc.)

3. Handle the co-ordination of project activities to ensure that projects are executed in a smooth and effective manner.

4. Responsible for requesting and initiating approved project purchases.

5. Attending external project kick-off meetings, meetings with clients or consultants as well as technical and co-ordination meetings, project meetings and internal project closure meetings.

6. Responsible for proper project documentation including email communication.

7. Assist designer in drawings, calculations & documentations for project submission.

8. Supervision of work, liaise with client, sub-contractors and service engineer regarding overall fire protection system.

9. Coordinate and supervise with Service Engineer for the factory acceptance test (FAT) with customers.

10. Any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.


Requirements:

1. Monday to Friday (8:00am-5:00pm), Saturday (8:00am-12:00pm).

2. At least 5 years relevant work experience in the Marine/Oil & Gas industry.

3. Applicants with similar experience in fire protection industry will have an added advantage.

4. Knowledgeable in application software such as MS Office, MS Project,
