Job Responsibilities
- Handling redemption queries / requests from existing borrowers / law firms
- Co-ordinate with external solicitors and internal customers to obtain the documentation for mortgage redemption, registration of charge etc.
- Liaise and follow up with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. solicitors to facilitate completion of mortgage documentation) to ensure timely completion of redemption.
- Work effectively as part of a team to maintain a high level of operational control and compliance with no occurrence of operational errors with financial loss or customer impact
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, risk controls, efficiency and contribute to process and system enhancements
- Assist with the review of and update of procedures and guides
- Participation in ad-hoc projects involving digitalisation, enhancements to operational processes & systems, migration as well as other ad-hoc projects / assignments / tasks that can be assigned from time to time
Job Requirements
- Entry level or Diploma holders with 2 or 3 years of relevant banking working experience in mortgage loan documentation
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to interact and communicate with people at various level
- Proficient in the use of MS Office applications, specifically in Microsoft excel
- Focused, organised and result-oriented with a keen eye for details
- Proactive team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated, able to multi-task and work under pressure to produce accurate results to meet deadlines
