RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assisting the principal, team leader in his/her duties
2. Preparing design proposals using CAD, 3D modelling software, 3d rendering and/or traditional drawing methods
3. Site visits to obtain information such as site measurement, M&E information, photographs
4. Assisting the principal and/or design lead in design development, materials/finishes/ffe proposal
5. Leading the detailed design process and co-ordinating design information
6. Co-ordinating and liaising with the various consultants on the project team for actualization of design intent;
7. Assisting in obtaining quotations from main contractors/sub-contractors, and relevant parties for project purposes
8. Leading the preparation of tender documentations and construction drawings
9. Leading construction detailing process and co-ordinating design information
10. Meeting and liasing with client and contractors / sub-contractors during construction stage
11. Monitoring quality of contractor’s works and to make clarifications on contractor’s queries
12. Administering accuracy of built works on site against original design intent
13. Client communication and management during construction stage
14. Solving problems that might occur during building/construction stage
15. Any other related work
REQUIREMENTS:
• Singaporean / Permanent Residents
• Minimum 2+ years experience in both design and documentation work for small to medium scale interior projects
• Minimum Diploma in Interior Design, Bach. Degree in Architecture preferred
• Software proficiency requirement: Autocad, Sketchup, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to confidently, effectively and clearly communicate both verbally and in writing
