- Provide nursing and basic care to clients.
- Evaluate and monitor the progress of clients’ treatment regularly.
- Bedside nursing duties such as: Assistance with ADLs, lifting and transferring of patients where needed.
- Provide comfort care
- Keeping pre-cooked meals to the patients,
- Assist with activities appropriate to the patient’s abilities
- Vital signs monitoring
- Wound management, removal of stitches
- Tracheostomy care and management
- Nasogastric tube insertion and care management
- Medication management: Drug calculation/reconstitution, manage storage and administration of meds (inclusive of controlled drugs)
- Medication packing
- Ensure strict compliance with clinical regulations as a nurse.
- Create and maintain a database of all clients, ensuring strict compliance with documentation, and providing evidence-based treatment with accurate and timely records.
- Ensure appropriate, legible, and prompt documentation when required.
- Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by the management.
Requirements
- Min Diploma or Degree in nursing
- Experience in Elderly Care / Dementia Care will be advantageous
