Assistant Contracts Manager
Responsibilities
Assist in contractual and costing matters, ensure compliance with relevant laws.
Perform and provide supervision to all contractual matter, tendering and procurements procedures (i.e. contracts, cost control, cashflow, project budgeting, project administrations, claims, cost analysis, etc).
Liaise with Client / Consultant / Sub-contractors / Suppliers on contractual matters including payment claims, change orders, variation orders, extension of time, etc.
Manage and prepare all contract documentation and agreement, as well as provide support in the drafting of specifications, bills of quantities and other tender requirements
Advise and resolve requests for equitable adjustment, contract disputes and contract claims
Oversee the preparation and monitoring of project cost budget, cash-flow cash-flow for project, track changes in design/construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
Manage contracts including progress and variation payment claims, change orders, variation orders, extension of time, etc
Work closely with the project team to ensure timely award and payment of subcontractors and suppliers
Ensure timely finalization of main and subcontract
Experience in ground engineering/civil engineering preferred
Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.
Minimum 5 Years of relevant working experience as ACM / SQS in the Civil Engineering industry.
Good knowledge of standard conditions of contracts for Civil Engineering projects.
Eye for details and accuracy.
Focused, diligent and a positive attitude.
Alternate Saturday (half day) is required.
