Executive, Finance (Strategic Finance)

As an Executive, you will assist the Finance Department of SingHealth Community Hospitals (SCH) in matters relating to the following areas:


SKCH Entity Financials

You will perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including reviewing of journal entries, variance analysis and preparation of audit schedules. You will develop and maintain effective accounting and internal procedures to ensure financial information is accurate. You will track budget utilizations and load the SKCH budgets onto SAP. You will review budgets for SKCH and communicate to SKCH users regarding Budget matters and recommend actions when there is a shortfall in budget.


SCH Group Reporting

You will obtain monthly statistics from stakeholders and update in SAP Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) System. You will verify accuracy of figures in SAP BPC on monthly basis. You will coordinate among various functional lines between SCH Group and Head Office to meet the financial requirements from Head Office. You will prepare statistical reports to external party and Head Office and prepare intercompany forecast to be uploaded into system.


SCH Group Budget

You will conduct and coordinate annual budget and forecast exercise including preparation of templates for various business units. You will assist in the review and recommend adjustments to the budget of business units, to ensure sustainability. You will perform variance analysis on expenses and budgets across entities. You will consolidate SCH Group budget slides for presentation and reporting and assist in preparation and updating of yearly TEAM Fund.


SCH Group Audit/Tax

You will collate audit schedules and coordinate with other stakeholders on information required by external auditors. You will prepare audit pack for submission to Head Office. You will assist with yearly tax computation and liaise with Head Office for income tax filing.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent
  • CA or ACCA (optional)
  • Preferably 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • IT savvy with good knowledge in Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Word and advanced knowledge in Excel like VBA, consolidation software like Hyperion Financial Management and data visualization software like Tableau
