- Strategic Planning: Develop industry analysis and expansion strategy in the seafood, agri-tech and alternative proteins sectors.
- Expansion and M&A: manage expansion & on-the-ground operations in overseas markets including the United Kingdom and Hong Kong.
- Financial Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies, manage risks, and drive sustainable growth.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, analyze performance, and provide data-driven guidance.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop detailed budgets and forecasts, informing strategic decisions and optimizing resource allocation.
- Cash Flow Management: Ensure efficient cash flow management, minimizing risks and maximizing liquidity.
- Accounting & Internal Controls: Oversee the accounting team and internal control systems, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and motivate the finance team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Requirements
Candidates must meet all requirements below:
- 10+ years of finance and mergers & acquisitions experience in vertically integrated aquaculture, agri-tech or alternative proteins with over US$100 million of demonstrated divestiture and/or fundraising experience
- 5+ years of work experience in the United Kingdom and Hong Kong and rights to work in both locations
- Bachelor’s education and an MBA candidate or graduate
- Ability to speak and write fluently Cantonese, Mandarin and English
- Proven track record of success in financial planning, analysis, and reporting with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in accounting software.
