Job Description

As a Regional Planning Director, you will be working closely with local media teams to drive regional strategy & operational excellence across the region.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Work closely with global and business lead to develop regional guidelines in adherence to global strategy
  • Day-to-day Client Lead
  • Work closely in support of the account/network lead on all operational and network matters
  • Ensure local & hub adoption and adherence to global guidelines, mandates, benchmarks
  • Work together with hub team to drive operational excellence across execution and reporting
  • Ensure media deliverables are met on time and within budget and align with clients' objectives
  • Manage hub transition & activation timeline
  • Facilitate & manage all global and client requests (e.g. plans/spends/reporting, vendors rate cards/media kits, etc.)
  • Ensure clear documentation on all communications with all parties
  • Develop, manage cross-country planning/buying process and scopes, billing process flow
  • Review and facilitate work orders for regional funded activities
  • Manage finance/billing request (i.e. status updates) from client
  • Work closely with finance team and local markets to report on financial matters
  • Work with Hub team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing (e.g. regular review of unbilled reports, resolve unbilled cases with Finance)
  • Follow-up with clients on aging matters
  • Able to lead and manage strategic business partnerships that are critical to the client’s business
  • Experience in driving strategic business development recommendations and ensuring follow through of the same across teams and markets
  • Solid integrated planning experience and able to develop guidelines / toolkits to help ensure consistency in planning principles across markets for the business
  • Able to drive business plan reviews across markets in alignment with the client’s goals
  • Experience in working with multiple digital ad techs and is able to lead in developing, planning and activating data driven initiatives alongside the planning team
  • Experience with managing brand safety guidelines and ensuring local market teams are adhering to these guidelines
  • Strong team leadership skills
  • Able to work collaboratively across specialist partners within the network


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 8 years of integrated media planning experience; preferably with prior experience working on Global Network Clients either at a global or regional level
  • Self-motivated and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptive, flexible and able to work with people from different backgrounds and cultures
  • Solid understanding and has experience in navigating the digital ecosystem
  • Familiar with the timelines, processes and needs of the implementation of all media
  • Knowledgeable about new approaches to and developments in integrated planning
  • Ability to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure
  • Solid leadership skills
  • Technical proficiency, particularly with media systems and MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
