Customer Service Officer

Responsibilities

  • Familiar with License Warehouse Custom procedures including able to handle permit declaration
  • Liaise with customer on order processing, shipment booking with forwarder, inventory management and others administrative and customer service duties
  • Liaise with freight forwarders / transporters on shipment booking, container trucking schedule, arrange courier and local delivery
  • Attend to customer request and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ensure proper and timely billing / closing of all jobs in system and forwarded to the Accounting & Finance Department
  • Assist to produce regular warehouse reports for management as and when required
  • Manages customers complains and claims
  • Assist in investigation on shipment failure or quality issue for performance and reporting, and following up to ensure resolution
  • Ensure proper filing and documents archiving for audit purpose
  • Ensure accurate order fulfilment in accordance with SLA / SOP /response guidelines
  • Manages stocks reconciliation and ensure stocks discrepancies resolved in timely manner
  • Prepare to undertake new project(s) as part of staff development
  • Liaise with Singapore customs for inbound discrepancies and auditing
  • Any others adhoc tasks as and when assigned by Assistant Manger

Requirements

  • Tertiary or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in 3PL warehouse operations preferably familiar with import and export processes, including different types of permits handling
  • Knowledge in Form D and COO handling will be an advantage
  • Familiarity with Bonded and Duty-Free products handling
  • Knowledge of shipping terms and documents
  • Able to multitask include handling of different systems, not limited to WMS and Oracle
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong command of spoken and written English
  • Knowledge in Mandarin is an advantage as officers will be liasing with our Chinese counterparts
  • Knowledge on SAP will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Trade first application (Singapore Custom) Qualification will be an advantage
