We are looking for a Analyst for one of our global shipping clients. The candidate will be responsible to support management reporting, analysis and development of the company’s business. The ideal candidate would have 1-2 years’ experience in analyst work, takes initiative, challenge existing ideas and has strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The candidate must be able to work well independently as well as in a highly collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Identify businesses improvement processes and efficiency in CRM system by eliciting, documenting, and analyzing requirements around business challenges
- Manage administrative functions including user account, maintenance activities, creation of reports and dashboards, workflows and other BAU tasks such as enquiries, as the point of contact
- Effectively act as the liaison between internal users and other stakeholders
- Liaise with senior management to develop models and forecasts supporting business initiatives and projects
- Improve internal reports, dashboards and databases that aid commercial decisions
Requirements
- Minimum Maritime/Shipping related degree or analytical degree in Maths, Science, Economics, Finance, Engineering, etc
- Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Performs well under pressure and in time constrained situations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
- Business Intelligence Software and Database experience desirable
