SUMMARY
The Logistics & Automation Department's Service Engineer will be primarily responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our warehouse automation equipment and is expected to work at customer sites regularly. The Service Engineer must handle equipment involving mechanical parts, motors, PLC programming, and electrical wiring in control boxes.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot our automated warehouse systems.
- Communicate and resolve equipment problems while working with other team members
- Prepare service and maintenance reports after the task is completed.
- Liaise with customers to arrange jobs and update customers on work progress.
- Attend to customer inquiries, prepare quotations, and arrange deliveries of replacement parts.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum requirement of an ITE Diploma in an engineering-related discipline.
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.
- Training will be provided. No prior experience is required.
- Basic knowledge of Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) is an advantage.

- Can be relied upon to complete tasks without constant supervision.
- Able to manage duties and work under stress during busy periods.
- Ability to diagnose technical problems arising from mechanical equipment.
