Meta’s APAC Metaverse content platform (MCP) team SPM is a strategic and partner-facing role who puts our partners at the core of everything we do. This is an outstanding opportunity to develop lasting partnerships in content business around metaverse. This role is responsible for partnering with Strategic Partner Managers to develop industry-specific relationships with existing, new partners and new strategic partnerships using data and analytics to provide consultative solutions to our partners. We introduce people to the devices and experiences that power the Metaverse, and support them as they enter the metaverse and start using our products. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with product, business development, store, marketing & communications teams to ensure a world-class developer experience, and that our consumers are thrilled with the caliber of content found on the Meta’s platform. Our vision is to be the best place for people to buy, and Meta to sell, Reality Labs products. This position is full-time and based in our Singapore office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and consult existing partners to help them grow their business on Meta’s platform around Mobile, VR, MR, and AR
  • Represent Meta’s metaverse contents partnership in external meetings with executives from external partners
  • Track, analyze, and communicate to develop and execute against partnership goals
  • Collaboration and relationship building with the experience developing all levels of management
  • Business development support role in strategic planning, creating presentations, and meeting with game developers to drive product adoptions.
  • Work cross-functionally with a variety of teams, including Product, Marketing, Legal, Policy team and Operations to advocate for partner needs.
  • Adapt quickly to product changes and limitations, and communicate these strategically to stakeholders

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS degree
  • 5~7 years of relevant experience in business development, partnerships, or publishing within the games, media, entertainment, applications, electronics, technology/platform, or early-stage internet/consumer technology companies, with a proven track record.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and adapt to a rapidly changing product to respond strategically to partner needs
  • Project management experience, with experience in managing milestones, schedules and tracked tasks
  • Demonstrated experience with data-driven decision-making
  • Experience delivering industry trends as a trusted advisor to cross-functional teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience working with or in the tech industry including Virtual Reality, Gaming platform and Global IP background preferred.
  • Understanding of general development pipelines for 3D applications
  • Ability to handle day to day operational work to also structure, negotiate, and maintain significant and complex strategic relationships with game companies
  • Identify and leverage trends within industry of expertise/focus
  • Entrepreneurial, persistent, and resourceful, with experience learning quickly about new technologies
  • Knowledge of the media/metaverse/gaming landscape of SEA and ANZ and digital media is a bonus
  • Fluency in Vietnamese is preferred as the individual will be partnering with clients in locations where communications are generally made in Vietnamese
