Mission/ Position Summary - Purpose Objectives of the Role:
Assistant Product Manager – Progressive addition lenses (PAL) will be responsible for her/his allocated product(s) portfolio in the perimeter of South East Asia and Korea. Develop the category and brand from planning and execution, working closely with various stakeholders to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
Be expert on go to market, category and products, driving all initiatives, such as product launches, category and brand activation.
Scope of Business/ Function - Key Areas of Expertise/ Reponsibilities:
- Developing and implementing the regional go-to-market plan by working with various departments and stakeholders to execute based on market knowledge.
- Managing the PAL portfolio positioning and pricing based on understanding of consumer barriers via education and activation.
- Specifying market requirements analysing potential opportunities for product range positioning, strategy, pricing recommendation
- Any product related communication and technical information, including demo tools, website and selling speech
- I Managing launches of innovation and initiatives such as launch of new products and commercial programs, collaborating with global and country teams and active support for product launches competitive knowledge
- Monthly business reporting of KPI’s, Sales tracking and launch follow up, recommending action plans to drive growth
Key Requirements:
- Min Degree in Marketing/ Business studies
- Min 5years’ experience as a Marketing Product Manager
- Experience in brand management and launches of new product or commercial programs.
- At ease with technical topics (scientific background or previous experience in medical devices / technical fields is an advantage)
- Experience working on businesses in Asia Pacific (India, ASEAN, Korea/Japan, ANZ) would be a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluent in English, 2nd language would be an advantage for business communication purposes)
- Excellent teamwork skills, proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority, used to work in multi-cultural environment
- Strong analytical skills, rigorous in the execution
