Underwriting Support - Korea Market

JOB PURPOSE

• Individual contributor assisting the team in ensuring that sanction checks are complied with under GA’s underwriting standards and delegated authority levels.
• Deliver a high-level service standard to internal team members

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Adhere to the sanction check requirements and ensure that all required checks are conducted with no breach.
• Working with the Head to establish best practices and processes to ensure that the team meets the company’s service standards set.
• Assist the team to:

1. Prepare and update reports as and when required
2. Ensure that sanction checks are conducted.
3. Update and maintain the records, schedules, statistics, etc.
4. Stay current on market conditions and share findings and updates with all members of the team as appropriate.

QUALIFICATION

• Basic Degree/Diploma in Business or Maritime with CGI.

EXPERIENCE

• 1 year of experience in Marine Insurance operations. (Candidates with no relevant experience are welcome)
• Some knowledge of Marine insurance operations.
• Some understanding of laws and legislation in relation to the marine insurance industry.

SKILLS

• Candidate should be comfortable and confident in Korean Language (Written and Spoken)
