Job Description & Requirements
We are looking for a dedicated team player to join our Import / Export Team. It is a fast-paced work environment with many opportunities for career growth. Candidate should be able to converse fluently in English. It will be a 5.5-day work week with an alternate Saturday off.
Key Responsibilities:
· Handle and process all import and export documents – Application of permits/Costings/Bank Documents etc.
· Liaise and coordinate with internal and external parities to ensure smooth and timely execution of shipments.
· Liaising with suppliers and necessary teams on all documentation required for clearing of shipments.
· Updating and following up on outstanding orders with overseas suppliers
· Doing Cycle Stock Counts for selected items
· Managing the stocks inbound & outbound in our external warehouses.
· Doing purchasing of local stocks from local vendors
- Understand customer needs and requirements
- Provide Strong Sourcing and Procurement Activities
- Beat Customer Expectations (Quotations & Deliveries)
- Build & Maintain Relationships with Suppliers & Forwarders to Ensure Efficient Order Processing (Strategic Sourcing, Quality, Reliability)
- Negotiation Excellence (Best Price and Terms)
- Ensure Complete Deliveries on Time
Requirements:
- Knowledge in SAP system will be advantageous.
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Able to multitask
- Good computer skills – Excel knowledge is a must.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualification:Polytechnic graduate
