The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Research Associate.
The project will capitalize on organic chemistry, nanotechnology and molecular biology to develop new agents, polish their physical and biochemical properties and shape them into smart imaging agents for advanced molecular imaging and therapy. At the end of this project, one provisional patent and three publications are expected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and synthesize the optical probes for imaging applications
- Design and synthesize nanomedicines
- Characterize them using different instruments
- Conduct experiments in cell and animals
- Analyze the data
- Write manuscripts and patents
Job Requirements:
- Master in Pharmaceutical Science, or Chemical Biology
- At least four years of experience in Organic Chemistry, Materials Science, Or Biomedical Engineering related fields are required.
- At least three years of experience in synthesis
- At least two years of experience in cell culture and animal handling
- Published at least three research papers with the first authorship
