As Executive Engineer, you need to oversee the projects; ensure the sources for funding, plans and establishes detailed scope of work, engages consultants and contractors to carry out the work, conducts design review and manages the project.
Working in a team environment, you will be involved in the overall projects. Your duties will include:
- Monitoring progress of works, carrying out design review, reviewing material and monitoring cost
- Liaising and conducting regular reviews of design and progress of works with project consultants/authorities on development projects
- Conducting technical studies and checking on technical submissions
- Coordinates with architects, M&E consultants and various government departments for project approval, executions and licenses etc. as directed by General Manager.
- In-charge of quotation requisition for major projects and jobs beyond the department’s capacity and ensures proper execution via effective supervision.
- Conducting briefings to Advisors, and other stakeholders
- Liaising and working closely with Advisors, leaders/members and other government and non-government organisations on issues relating to development
- Administering contracts of the development projects and managing a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that the projects are delivered in a cost-effective and timely manner
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Building/Civil & Structure/Mechanical/Electrical) with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in building industry
- Familiar with developer/ constructions projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organised and able to multi-task
- Experience in leading project teams or equivalent
- Good to have PE Certified
