Job Responsibilities
· Deploy, configure, manage, and maintain virtualized infrastructure.
· For Virtualization ie VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V.
· For Storage ie HDS (Hitachi Data System), HPE, Dell, EMC, Lenovo, IBM.
· For Backup Software ie Veeam, Veritas BackupExec, Veritas Netbackup, Acronis, Arcserve, ShadowProtect.
· Preferably with some working experience and knowledge in Linux.
· Create documentation, perform root cause analysis, quickly identify trends and recommend possible solutions.
· Troubleshoot network, hardware, and software related issues.
· Serve as a primary support and maintenance resource for customers.
· Perform required maintenance off hours and support 24x7 operations.
· Participate in requirements gathering.
· Present and promote solutions and services to highlight value add.
Job Requirements
· 2+ year’s experiences in virtualization technology.
· Knowledge of server systems, storage systems, virtualization technologies and networking.
· Knowledge of data centre route/switch technology, backup/recovery in a virtual environment.
· Understanding of active directory architecture, DNS administration.
Qualifications
· Minimum Diploma in computer science, information technology, computer programming, or similar.
· VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) preferred.
