Manager (Education), Office of SingHealth Academy

You will play a key role in supporting SingHealth’s efforts in being a leader in Academic Medicine. You are responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Office of SingHealth Academy. You will be involved in the commercialisation of training programmes, where you are required to engage internal stakeholders/clients to identify potential areas, customers, and programs for commercialisation. You will work with Subject Matter Experts on developing the curriculum and corresponding course materials, as well as collaborate with the relevant teams to support commercialisation efforts.

You will lead the programme office to administer the commercialised training programs (on-site or hybrid) and monitor the adoption rates for the commercialised products.

In addition, you are required to scan the market and identify potential training programmes that may be relevant to SingHealth. You will collaborate with partners to develop training programmes, explore aligning existing programmes and develop new programmes that can leverage on available funding. You will drive the marketing and branding of SingHealth Academy, pitch the services and promote SingHealth Academy as the training partner of choice to healthcare professionals. You will also contribute to overall risk management initiatives undertaken by the department, as well as evaluate and identify all risk factors (such as staffing, infrastructure and scalability) accordingly.


You will develop and implement budget, manpower training and career development plans for the Office. You will also propose, lead, and implement development plans, new initiatives, projects, or start-ups to support the growth of the department. You will also plan and supervise all activities, build, and maintain relationship with key stakeholders as well as support Group Education in building its education & academic framework.


Job Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing or Hospitality, with at least 8 years of working experience in a related field

· Possess relevant work experience in the healthcare industry, events or training management, where prior experience in commercialisation would be an added advantage.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

· Possess an enterprising mindset.

· Possess project management skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently.

· Highly motivated, creative, and driven in leading teams to reach goals and objectives.

· Possess strong negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

· A team player with interpersonal qualities to nurture long term relationship with stakeholders.

· Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
