Admin Assistant cum Receptionist

This advertisement is for recruiting position of Admin Assistant cum Receptionist.

If successfully selected, you will be seconded to a MOE Primary located in Bukit Purmei Ave.

Contract Period: From 01 Mar 2024 to 28 Feb 2025

Option Year: From 01 Mar 2025 to 28 Feb 2026

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

  • Mondays to Thursdays: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, inclusive of ½ hour lunch break
  • Fridays: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, inclusive of ½ hour lunch break
  • Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

The Services required are set out as follows:

  1. Customer Service at the front desk which includes but not limited to;
  2. Answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls.
  3. Attend to phone and walk-in enquiries; and
  4. Take messages.
  5. Caring for students.
  6. Attend to students in the sick bay.
  7. Contact parents when required; and
  8. Coordinating early dismissal of students.
  9. Assist in admin duties:
  10. Data entry.
  11. Printing of worksheets.
  12. Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  13. Receives mail, documents, packages and courier deliveries. delivers or distributes items received; and
  14. Any other duties as assigned by the school.

The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, experience and skills:

Minimum Qualification:

  • Full GCE’N’,’O’ or Nitec Certificate or its equivalent

Other requirements preferred:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word;
  • Good verbal communication and inter-personal skills;
  • Bilingual (English and Mandarin) preferred;
  • Excellent organisation skills
