Job Summary
We are seeking for an experienced Security Engineer who has exposure in Managed Security Services (MSS) and security operations center functions.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Degree in Infocom Security, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or Computer Science;
- Has 2- 3 years experience in security engineering, threat detection, and analysis;
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply;
- Strong hands on experience / knowledge of Managed Security Services (MSS) and security operations center (SOC) functions;
- Experience in vulnerability management, security training, and phishing exercises;
- Knowledgeable in Cloud Security Posture Management tools and practices;
- Proficient in pro-active threat hunting and leveraging threat intelligence;
- Strong in analytical thinking with attention to detail;
- Excellent communication and inter personal skills.
Desired Skill-set
- Professional certification(s) such as CISSP,CISM.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for fine-tuning technologies associated with Managed Security Services (MSS) vendors, threat detection, analysis, and overall SOC functions;
- Work closely with MSS vendors to enhance security operations center capabilities;
- Ensure the efficient and effective deployment of security tools and technologies;
- Involved in regular vulnerability scanning and analysis;
- Develop and implement Security Training Awareness and Phishing Exercises;
- Responsible for fine-tuning and optimizing Cloud Security Posture Management tools;
- Track and assess the security posture of cloud environments;
- Include threat intelligence into security operations to enhance threat detection capabilities;
- Liaise with external threat intelligence providers to ensure comprehensive coverage
