Job Description:
- Collaborate with the Air Operations Manager to oversee and lead the Air Export team.
- Ensure the Air Operations staff consistently meets or exceeds service agreements according to customer standards.
- Supervise day-to-day operational activities and streamline work processes.
- Effectively address customer complaints and requirements, proposing corrective action plans.
- Foster and sustain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategize, monitor and implement rotational schedules for the Air Export team.
- Ensure compliance with shipment requirements and meet KPI.
- Provide leadership to the Air Export team, offering relevant training as needed.
- Guarantee the timely and accurate provision of all freight documents to customers.
- Investigate and develop corrective action plans for non-conformance issues, exceptions, and problem escalations.
- Undertake any additional tasks assigned by supervisors or management on an ad-hoc basis.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum GCE 'O' level / NITEC / Diploma in a Relevant Discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in the freight forwarding/logistics/supply chain industry, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory position
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
- Strong knowledge of Air Operations (Import & Export) is highly preferred
- Willingness to work at Changi Airfreight Cargo
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels within and across the company
- Flexible and well-organized
- Positive attitude, strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
- Meticulous, organized, and willing to go the extra mile to deliver excellent service
