The radiographer will be responsible for performing one or more of the following imaging procedures, and the duties assigned will depend on his/her professional training:
- Ultrasound
- Computer Tomography
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- Mammography
- X-Ray
- BMD
Your primary duties include:
- Work directly with patients as part of the healthcare team, using imaging skills and equipment, to assist in diagnosing and treating a variety of ailments
- Regular radiography duties as agreed with the Doctor and the Centre Manager
- Update patients’ charts, maintain equipment in the radiology centre
- Follow closely all of the safety precautions necessary to the job
- Manage customers’ expectations and uphold good service standards
- Perform administrative duties that are pertinent to centre operations and service standards
- Liaise and build relationships with a range of stakeholders, e.g. patients, suppliers as well as colleagues
- When required, link with the equipment vendors for maintenance or general queries
- Any other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Requirements:
- Diploma/ Degree in Radiography from a recognized institution
- AHPC Certification preferred
- Mature and possess a strong sense of commitment and dedication
- Able to work in a team or independently with minimum supervision
- Able to present a professional image and deliver top-quality customer service
