Perform independent valuation for various financial instruments, businesses, and assets, including derivatives, structured products, equity, and debt securities. Handle valuation tasks for purposes such as mergers and acquisitions, litigation support, dispute resolution, financial reporting, restructuring, and financial advisory. Build and analyze financial models, assessing underlying assumptions and data. Research and stay updated on industry best practices in valuation models and techniques. Ensure that valuation practices align with industry standards. Pitch for new work by preparing and presenting proposals. Lead valuation engagements and take charge of client relationships throughout the process. Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns in valuation-related services. Collaborate with Partners and staff on client management, practice development, and business development activities. Hold an excellent academic background with a Master's in Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Financial Mathematics, or related field. Professional qualifications in accounting, FRM, or CFA are advantageous. Possess at least 5 years of valuation experience within an accounting, professional services firm, or a bank. Experience in building and/or validating pricing models and valuations control is a plus. Strong grasp of quantitative finance, including models for equity, interest rates, FX, and credit. Expertise in implementing valuation models for financial instruments using VBA or other programming languages, with knowledge of business valuation and intangible asset valuation.
