FocusCore is partnering with a growing reinsurance business to hire an Underwriting Assistant / Assistant Underwriter to be based in Singapore. In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting the underwriting team in assessing risks, analyzing data, and contributing to the decision-making process.
You will assist in reviewing and analysing submissions, including policy wordings, financial statements, and claims data. You will collaborate with underwriters to evaluate risks and determine appropriate terms and conditions for contracts, maintain accurate documentation and records of underwriting activities. You will conduct thorough risk assessments by analyzing data, market trends, and industry benchmarks. Additionally, you will liaise with clients and brokers to gather information and address queries.
