RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a creative and driven individual who is passionate about radio, content generation & research for the audio brands across radio, audio, video & social media platforms. You will be working with the on-air talents in coordinating the content output and will report to the Program Director/Producer Team Manager. The producer also acts as the critical link between talents/presenters, guests, technical, editorial and programming support.
Responsibilites
- Plan, Manage and Deliver content for assigned radio belt(s). This includes daily topic plans, social media & video content, segment & trailer production, catch-up podcasts
- Research trending / relevant topics and book guests for interview segments
- Ensure that content requirements and programming guidelines are strictly adhered to
- Generate video content for YouTube/ mewatchby working with production houses or commissioners
- Production experience in the broadcast media (radio/audio, video, social media platforms) and an awareness of what makes good entertainment & content
- Excellent spoken and written English, including script-writing skills for radio and video
- Language competency in Mandarin/Malay/Tamil is advantageous
- Ability to work and adapt quickly under fast-changing conditions, including working as a team and also independently
- Strong research, interviewing, creative, improvisational and production skills
- Experience in social media production & digital analytics
- Creative, meticulous and organized with good forward-planning skills
- Ability to work irregular hours occasionally, depending on shift patterns
- Proficient in applications such as Pro-tools, Cool Edit Pro, Adobe Audition, any video editing software
