We are looking for Field Service Specialists (Electromechanical) to join our team in Singapore.
The Electromechanical Specialist reports directly to the Service Manager and has responsibilities for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the woodworking machines for customers.
Pre-requisites:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree from Electrical or Mechatronic Engineer background
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in installation and troubleshooting industrial machinery with PLC/PC controls and adjustable-speed drives.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, CAD, or similar application experience
- Spoken and written fluent English is a must. Chinese and Malay / Bahasa Indonesia as working language as well as experience from plywood or other wood processing industries are added advantages.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision and own initiative.
- Willingness to travel.
The Job:
- Technical after Sales support to external, but also internal customers as required by the Company.
- Provide high quality field services to customers in APAC region remotely or visiting customers' site.
- Coordinate maintenance service projects between Raute's delivery units and customers.
- Carry on field service work during installation, commissioning, planned service and on-call cases.
- Participate in FAT testing as needed.
- Participate in product and service product development.
- Follow-up and coordinate of spare part and maintenance service sales and co-ordination of service work schedule is also part of the job.
