Job Summary
The primary role is responsible for developing and managing sales strategies to drive revenue growth for gyms under Climb Central Singapore. This includes identifying and reaching out to potential clients to pitch and sell climbing programmes and events, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of all programmes and events.
He/She is also responsible for handling lead enquiries from over the counter at the gyms, through our websites, or any other sources to convert them to sales.
He/She is to submit monthly sales reports and maintain a good sales tracking system.
In addition to sales and programme management, the Executive is also responsible for operations-related tasks, such as ensuring counter resources are available for all operations and crew members, working with operations to ensure viability and effectiveness of accounts brought in, maintaining a good system of record keeping and counter resources, monitoring effective use of RGP (POS) functions, and fulfilling the role of Gym Crew/Duty Officer 1-2 times a week.
Job Responsibilities
• Executive, Programme Sales
a. Clients Communication and Execution:
i. Identify and engage potential clients for rock climbing programmes and events, including corporate bonding events, team building events, and climbing classes and courses, and related private programmes.
ii. Coordinate programmes and events ,courses in all aspects on accounts brought in through all lead generation channels.
iii. Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other decision makers
b. Staffing and Training Development:
i. Work with Course Lead and Learning and Development Team to ensure operations viability and improve programme structure.
ii. Plan and conduct training for programmes instructors and/or crew executing the programmes.
c. Risk Management
i. Ensure all safety protocols are in place and staff and participants are following them
ii. Recommend adjustments to programme or event to ensure safety, such as participants to instructor ratio.
d. Payment and Feedback
i. Negotiate and finalise contracts with clients, including pricing, schedule, and deliverables.
ii. Establish feedback channels with clients to obtain feedback on the quality of programmes and use feedback to continuously improve programmes and services.
iii. Create and send invoices to clients for services rendered and follow up on unpaid invoices.
e. Marketing and Promotion
i. Develop and implement promotion strategies to reach potential clients, including online and offline marketing channels, as well as referrals and word-of-mouth.
ii. Continuously develop skills and knowledge in areas such as programme management, rock climbing techniques, and safety procedures to deliver high-quality programmes and services.
f. Reporting
i. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales and programme execution activities.
ii. Submit monthly sales report and maintain a good sales tracking system.
• Operations (Immediate/New)
a. To ensure counter resources are available for all operations and crew members for accounts brought in
b. Ensure RGP payment systems are set up, and the website calendar is updated.
c. To work with operations to ensure viability and effectiveness of accounts brought in.
d. To maintain a good system of record keeping and counter resources
e. To monitor effective use of RGP functions
• Gym Crew/Duty Officer - To fulfil role as a Crew/DO 1 - 2 times a week after being trained as Operations Crew.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in business, marketing, related studies
• 1 - 2 years of experience in sales and programme management, preferably in the sports and fitness industry.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and spoken) skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Strong negotiation and sales skills, with the ability to close deals and generate revenue.
• Ability to plan and execute programmes and events, and to manage resources and staff to ensure success.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Knowledge of rock-climbing techniques, safety procedures, and equipment is preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
• Must be physically fit and able to climb and assist with the setup and teardown of equipment.
• Ability to handle warm lead enquiries from over the counter, through our websites, or any other sources.
