Roles & Responsibilities:
The Associate Engineer is responsible for producing design drawings, recommending solutions, and collaborating closely with the Sales and Production departments to meet customer requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, constructing, and testing various technological products.
- Establishing and documenting design rules for everyday use.
- Conducting design tasks using AutoCAD & Inventor.
- Collecting information about clients’ requirements & collaborating with Managers to create products through sophisticated computer software.
- Providing field support, including customers visits, when necessary, to offer technical service, troubleshoot issues, and gather relevant information.
- Accessing and offering feedback on proposed changes to engineering standards and policies, which may include ASME Y14.5-2009 STD for GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Undertaking ad hoc duties as assign by the manager.
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma/degree in Engineering: Minimum 5 years’ experience in precision engineering with hands-on machining process and Minimum 5 years with AutoCAD & Inventor experience.
- A self-starter person with strong focus and with a passion on highly result-driven.
- A commitment to maintaining quality mind-set in all aspects of work.
- The ability to manage multi projects within tight deadlines and effectively multitask under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in mathematics.
- The ability to handle both simple tasks and more complex assignments.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry or related field.
