Job Scope and Responsibilities:
- Develop strong relationships with customers as a trusted advisor to facilitate engineering solutions by visiting customers regularly, and providing pre-sales and post-sales support.
- Work with sales teams to interpret customer requirements, deliver solutions, and manage customer expectations.
- Work as a consultant to the sales teams and clients to problem-solve and make recommendations during the sales process.
- Participate in technical discussions with the client’s engineering or maintenance teams and address any process or engineering concerns.
- Work with the Technical Service Unit to implement engineering solutions for customers.
- Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing the company’s service standards.
- Develop and deliver product demonstrations and sales presentations that explain key technical aspects of solutions that will benefit customers and prospects.
- Conduct technical and/or product training for internal and external customers.
- Engage in developing the company’s marketing resources when necessary.
- Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Communicate and negotiate with Principals/suppliers to bring the most cost-effective benefits and solutions to customers.
- Act as an intermediary between customers and suppliers to address technical requirements and clarifications.
- Develop technical solutions in engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Support the project teams by engaging in technical discussions with customers and suppliers to ensure that project is delivered on time and with budget.
Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 3 years engineering experience in the areas of steam traps, liquid drainers, strainers and other heating/steam applications.
- Have experience with preparing proposal for Steam Trap Survey and Energy Audits.
- Possess a Diploma/Degree in Engineering
- Owning a vehicle will be advantageous
