Job Description
JOB SCOPE
Provide key support to the customers in all matters relating to completion of a sales order. Activities including follow-up on shipments and preparation of shipping documents to ensure 100% on time delivery is achieved.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle Import / Export / Direct shipments & local delivery orders
- Preparation of shipping documents for courier service
- Order processing, generate invoices, GRN through SAP System
- Follow up with forwarders on shipping documentation and delivery matters
- To maintain proper documentation for filing records
- Support logistics department in the preparation of shipping documents (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, B/L, Delivery Order, Certificate of Origin) for Imports, Exports, Local and Malaysia collection
- Liaising with Sales / Customer Services for shipping/delivery matters
- Apply shipping insurance & fumigation whenever required
- Stock takes / cycle count / Inventory Management
- Liaising with warehouse personnel for shipments / order delivery
- Issue Purchase Requisition (PR) for Logistics Department
- Any other duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- GCE'A' Level or Diploma
- Relevant working experience in a manufacturing / trading environment
- Shipping knowledge (import/export/local delivery/direct shipment/incoterm)
- Able to handle routine data entries accurately and efficiently
- Good attitude, willing to learn and a good team player
