Job Description:
- Cleanliness Inspections of various shore tanks, ships tanks or any other form of object used for the transportation of minerals oils, chemicals and petrochemicals.
- Determination of quantity and quality of above mentioned goods by measuring physical bulk, temperature, metering, draft survey or any other means and in combination needed to ascertain said quantity.
- Per Shipment Inspection
- Sampling of the above goods as per international or other standards and putting correct labelling and storage.
- The nature of work is demand orientated and often outside normal working hours, therefore a high degree of flexibility is required.
- Communicate with the office regularly to update on field activity in progress.
- Ensure compliance to all requirements as outlined by the office.
- To abide by the company rules, procedures and guidelines or those in force upon whichever site or vessel the inspector is working.
Job Requirements:
- Required to work outdoors on land and sea.
- Required to work long hours and days at a stretch.
- Required to speak and write good English and do mathematical calculations.
- Able to withstand heights and entry into enclosed space.
- Should have minimum of 1-2 years
- Be physically fit.
