Are you ready to take your career in finance and analytics to the next level? We are searching for an Assistant Analytics Manager (Finance) to join our dynamic Business Intelligence team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of financial data analysis, working closely with our Finance, Treasury, and Risk departments to provide invaluable insights and contribute to optimizing our business processes.
As an Assistant Analytics Manager (Finance), you will be a driving force in our financial and risk management efforts. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performance Metrics: Create, test, and evaluate performance metrics that align with the company's strategic direction.
- Financial Forecasting: Build robust models to forecast revenue and gross profit, collaborating with the executive team to shape our strategic decisions
- Data Support: Respond to data requests from various teams and collaborate on building interactive dashboards that empower informed decision-making.
- Financial Reporting: Maintain and update financial reports to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Automation: Optimize data query processes to automate reports, saving time and improving efficiency
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaise with different business functions to translate technical specifications into actionable insights that address business needs.
- Cost Tracking: Assist in cost tracking efforts, centralizing data for comprehensive management reports.
- BI Solutions: Design, build, and enhance Business Intelligence solutions to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Insight Mining: Extract valuable insights from data and transform them into actionable plans to drive growth and efficiency.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in financial services, fintech or risk management
- Proficiency in MySQL for data extraction and analysis
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and Index/Match
- Deep understanding of Finance, Risk, or Analytics, and/ or financial products/instruments like cards, treasury products, payment gateways etc.
Preferred qualifications:
- Prior experience with data orchestration tools like Airflow and dbt is preferred
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence software, particularly Tableau, is a plus
- Strong grasp of accounting principles, IFRS, financial statements, and key metrics for payments and financing businesses
- A structured and analytical thinker with problem-solving skills who can dive deep into datasets to uncover insights
- Effective planning, organizational, and communication abilities to facilitate collaboration among diverse teams within the organization
