  • Provide HR operations and benefits design, advisory, and support in the Asia Pacific region, with a focus on Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Australia, Hong Kong, Macau, and South Korea.
  • Administer and coordinate benefits enrollment and plan renewals with service providers, ensuring policies are renewed in a timely manner and do not lapse. Also manage leave of absence (LOA) and workers' compensation processes.
  • Participate in Compensation and Benefits (C&B) surveys and report HR trends to the Team Lead, suggesting strategies to compete for top talent in the market.
  • Conduct market reviews to design effective proposals and ensure the company's benefits packages and policies are compliant with local legislation.
  • Gather and distribute data on local legislation and compliance to the Team Lead as needed.
  • Efficiently deliver HR operational tasks, such as onboarding, offboarding, transfers, assignments, employment pass processing, employment certification letters, and handling HR queries, while maintaining high service standards and quality within service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Proactively identify pain points through regular reviews and communicate them to the Team Lead, along with alternative solutions.
  • Foster effective communication and relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors (outsourcing service partners) to ensure smooth and seamless operations.
  • Provide value by generating innovative solutions and proposing effective alternatives to meet the requirements of different Business Units (BUs).
  • Demonstrate a willingness to step out of your comfort zone by going beyond your role and responsibilities to find effective workarounds and solutions.


Job Requirements:

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in Benefits and HR Operations.
  • Someone who enjoys coming up with solutions and embracing challenges, while also being detail-oriented. Excellent analytical skills are necessary to research and evaluate benefits programs in order to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to understand HR policies, work visa procedures, and current best practices within the APAC region. Must be able to present information clearly and in a way that stakeholders can understand, while also addressing any questions that may arise.
  • Knowledge of local regulations regarding health and retirement benefits processing, as well as experience in managing leave of absence, time-off, and workers' compensation programs.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on efficiently addressing issues and providing excellent customer service. Must also possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required, as there will be a need to communicate and collaborate with counterparts in China

Salary : $5,000.00 - $5,500.00
