Senior Recruitment Consultant
The Senior Recruitment Consultant role is responsible to provide high quality resourcing solutions to support the recruitment team in responding to manpower services requirements of our international and locally based clients and to further develop existing business. You will utilize your given knowledge and experience and other resources available to you in order to support COENS’s delivery of recruitment services and other solutions in your assigned market verticals. The Senior Recruitment Consultant will be a key member of the Singapore delivery team and will be expected to:
- Resource for and identify suitably qualified candidates as required by the recruitment teams in response to and to fill client requirements
- Perform job vacancy qualification, candidate processing and shortlisting, client submissions, and candidate placements
- Develop new business leads to be converted to new clients for business and account development
- Account-manage clients/project assignments in the assigned industry verticals
- Identify and build up an extensive network of suitable candidates within the assigned industries and/or job families
- Conduct thorough research to provide quality candidates for each job requirement/vacancy resourced through various methodologies such as our Company’s database, job portals, and your own network
- Achieve set placement and meet revenue targets whilst ensuring that candidates and assigned accounts are provided with prompt and quality service
- Produce effective and compliant job advertisements and employ other winning strategies and tools for candidate attraction and retention
Job Requirements
Suitable to apply for the Senior Recruitment Consultant role are candidates with:
- A Diploma or Degree with minimum 2 years’ work experience in technical recruitment especially gained from working in a recruitment consulting environment
- Proven experience in successfully closing job/search assignments especially gained in any of the key industry verticals such as Civil Infrastructure, Building Construction, Oil and Gas, and Chemicals
- Proven skills in successfully recruiting and placing candidates for both technical and corporate roles; from field personnel to technical staff and professional level up to middle and senior management/leadership roles
- As the successful candidate will be targeted toward achieving set recruitment and revenue KPIs, candidates must have a track record of success in technical recruitment in a recruitment consulting environment or client servicing environment, as evidenced by past revenue / placements experience
- Goal-oriented, focused, driven to achieve individual and team targets; excellent interpersonal skills; a team player
- Positive mindset, work ethic and right attitude in handling rejections and disappointments that come along the way of recruitment work!
- Effective time management; highly resourceful; proactive and self-motivated with the ability to plan ahead and work autonomously when required
- Organized and methodical with an eye for details.
