Job Description
Perform after sales service / surveys to customers by providing; steam trap survey, commissioning, trouble shooting, repairing and assembling service for wide range of products.
Key Tasks include:-
- On site and in house repair and service of mechanical and electronic-based products of the company’s product range.
- Ensure that field activities such as servicing, customer visits, steam trap surveys, plant audits, steam quality testing, preventive maintenances, troubleshooting, and commissioning are properly planned, organised, and executed to achieve maximum productivity and effectiveness.
- Help customers to optimise their steam systems in term of sustainability.
- Determine the improvements required, to bring about a high level of productivity and efficiency.
- Continually search for new prospects, to expand customer base within assigned area.
- Develop a full understanding of the allocated industrial base and be aware of the market activities and the competition within this segment.
- To work with sub-contractors and vendors on service-related jobs.
- Troubleshoots and repair product, application faults.
- Calibration of instruments.
- Assembly and set up of specific products for delivery.
- Evaluation and inspection of spare parts supplier and quality of product workmanship.
- Any other related task assigned
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
- At least 3 to 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate and reason with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficient in MS office
- Computer ability in Auto CAD or SolidWorks program will be an advantage.
