Global Bid and Content Manager (Remote)
Full time, Singapore
The Global Bid and Content Manager focuses on supporting our new sales and client retention activities. Working as part of BCD Travel’s Global Sales Cycle Support team, the role collaborates with internal teams to ensure the most up-to-date, accurate and highest quality of content is provided in our bid responses. Supported by our leading proposal management solution and other knowledgebase platforms, you will bring creative thinking skills to write bid responses that align to our strategy for the customer’s travel program.
This role requires the ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and coordinate various subject matter experts. To do this, you will be a strong team player, with outstanding communication, IT and organizational skills.
As a Global Bid and Content Manager, you will
- Create compelling, customized proposals that clearly articulate BCD Travel’s value proposition to prospects and clients
- Write and develop standard, custom, and strategic content (long and short form)
- Build project plans and assess incoming RFXs
- Coordinate and liaise with all internal stakeholders to establish and manage timelines and deliverables
- Follow our global bid processes and best practices to collaborate with our wider sales organization to finalize the full proposal submission
- Stay abreast of product developments, industry trends, and competitor activity
- Partner with internal and external SMEs for additional clarity and understanding
About you
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through accredited certification program
- Strong attention to detail, time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to work effectively (autonomously and collaboratively) with all levels of the company
- Eager to learn and desire to build and develop your career at BCD
- Seasoned work experience in proposal/bid writing, project management, content, procurement, or marketing is a plus
- Relevant travel industry experience would be helpful, but not essential
- Demonstrate effective communication skills (written, oral, and presentation), with strong editing and proofing abilities. Experience in writing B2B content is a plus. As part of the recruitment process you will need to complete a writing assessment
- Competent Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce user
- Experience with proposal automation software/content management database and online sourcing platforms, such as Ariba, is a plus
- Excellent command of English
