JOB DESCRIPTION

With a rapidly growing array of sales teams, it's important to have knowledgeable, charismatic leaders to guide our client sales teams. As a Sales manager, you'll lead and coach high-performing account teams that use consultative sales skills to understand our advertisers' needs and deliver measurable solutions that grow their businesses. You will also work with the sales leadership team to set strategic objectives and run the day-to-day operations for the business. Sales managers willingly help their teams and roll up their sleeves to partner directly with clients to provide comprehensive service. You are an excellent communicator with a proven ability to train and motivate a large team, and you take an analytical approach to sales management.

ADDITIONAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Head of APAC LCS International Growth Team, you will oversee and own the outcomes of growth strategies and plans to achieve business growth/financial objectives and accelerate growth for Google. You will anticipate, seek out, and define problems in reaching clients with compelling pitches, developing successful sales pipelines, and selling Google products to clients. In this role, you'll be responsible for Google’s international growth strategy in the Greater China region. With your team of International Growth Consultants, you will identify the biggest transformational international growth opportunities for our Greater China-based advertisers and develop a customer-centric approach to unlock them. Additionally, you will act as a trusted advisor to C-levels and help them meet their business objectives with Google’s broad range of international growth solutions, from Google ads to operational improvement offerings.

  • People Management:Foster a culture of coaching and mentoring, empowering the team to excel in sales, consultancy, and account management.
    Guide the team's professional growth, fostering new approaches to unlock international opportunities.
    Create an inclusive and respectful environment where everyone feels valued and supported.
  • Strategic Growth:Lead the development and execution of the International Growth strategy, ensuring alignment with sales goals and regional initiatives.
    Collaborate with xfn teams to drive business growth and identify high-value opportunities for Google and clients.
  • Client Impact:Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders, unlocking transformational international growth opportunities for Google's advertisers.
    Showcase the value of Google's international growth solutions
  • Operational Excellence:Partner with leadership to ensure program agility and continuous adaptation to evolving customer needs, addressing challenges like logistics uncertainties and economic slowdowns.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with people management.
  • 8+ years of experience in international business operations and/or tech sales/marketing, with a proven track record of success

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated expertise in China export business with fluency in Mandarin
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams across diverse geographic locations and markets
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate market nuances and solve multifaceted problems
  • Ability to drive results by influencing C-level decision-making internally across Google and externally.
