The FP&A Director will work closely with our CFO, APAC on short and long-term financial planning and analysis of business operations to ensure profitable growth for Moet Hennessy brands in the Region. He/ She will examine, analyze, and evaluate the entirety of MHAP’s financial information, activities has well as external economic conditions and their impact on business operations. As the lead for Moet Hennessy’s financial budget, forecast and financial management reporting processes, you will be a key liaison with MH Markets, MH Maisons and Region’s business leaders for all financial matters.
Management Reporting, Planning and Analysis
- Lead the financial planning process including analysis on Volumes, Net Sales, Pricing, OPEX and Operating Profit
- Liaise with Region’s Management, MH Central, Maisons and other Regions on expectations, guidelines and timelines
- Prepare accurate and insightful business comments to explain the performance versus plans and previous year
- Analyze and provide insights on strategic business dynamics and trends as well as factors affecting business performance, highlight any financial issue requiring management attention
Business Partnering with Markets, Maisons and Region’s business leaders
- Bring financial insights and expertise in the decision-making process to ensure a sustainable, profitable growth
- Be a key contributor to monthly market’s business updates and quarterly business reviews
- Engage Regional Supply Planning team to ensure markets’ ability to achieve their targets, be a force of proposition when it comes to allocations and management of scarcity, and leverage on the logistics/ supply insights to better understand and monitor the trends
- Collaborate with Regional Center of Excellence and HR shared service center for all cost planning and monitoring, centrally and in markets
Develop the Finance Community in Asia Pacific
- Ensure adoption of MH Financial tools, processes, methodologies and definitions while re-enforcing and animating the regional controlling community to promote sharing of information & best practices
- Supervise Finance Governance in the Region in coordination with MH Central
- Contribute to the development of Finance knowledge in the Region
Team Management and Development
- Lead a high performing FP&A team, capitalise on the strengths of the individuals, while ensuring development of the team, fostering inter-operability and a supportive mindset
- Review the Roles & Responsibilities of the Regional FP&A team, depending on the organisation’s evolving needs and having in mind mobilities and succession planning
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years’ experience in Financial Planning / Finance Controlling in a multinational company with good knowledge of accounting principles and knowledge of internal control and processes
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong leadership skills and commercial acumen
- Ability to manage complexity, ambiguity and pressure
- Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize and plan, and deliver quality results within tight deadlines
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Open to engage with different cultures
- Action and result-oriented
- Proficient with Excel. Hyperion Essbase, Anaplan and SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Fluent in English with proficiency of other language(s) will be an advantage
