What the role involves:
- Handle ocean import process (communicate with customer, data entry, raise payment voucher, arrange transportation)
- Arrange payments with Carrier / Co-loader upon receipt of Arrival Notices from Carriers / Co-loaders.
- Process / input data of incoming shipments in Yunas system.
- Sending Arrival Notice to customers, and liaise for clearance and delivery instructions
- Arrange for insurance coverage in required by customers
- Arrange clearance documents and liaise with transporters for delivery arrangement
- Follow-up on the arrival of shipment, and delivery process
- Liaise with customers / carriers / co-loaders if there is any discrepancy to the cargoes upon clearance
- Raise invoices and dispatch to customer, and follow-up with customers if there is any discrepancy
- Extract data for simple report (Excel) if required by customers
Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Minimum O level and above
- 1 Year of Experience preferably in freight forwarding or shipping.
- Good communication skill and a team player with positive working attitude
