Our client is one of Oil Trading companies whom has a strong presence in Asia, and they are looking for hire a Chartering & Operation Executive, responsible for managing the chartering and shipping operation activities related to the transportation of petroleum, gas and coal cargoes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate the movement of vessels engaged in oil transportation.
- Collaborate with charterers, ship owners, and brokers to secure suitable vessels for cargo transportation.
- Monitor vessel schedules and ensure timely departures and arrivals.
- Analyze and optimize voyage performance to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as trading, finance, and legal to ensure smooth operations.
- Negotiate and finalize charter party agreements for cargoes, considering terms and conditions that align with the company's interests.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of charter party agreements, including terms, conditions, and performance criteria.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Studies with 3 years of experience in chartering or vessel operations
- Strong understanding of international shipping regulations and market dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Able to handle pressure and stress
- Strong team player, and able to work independently to deliver quality output.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
