The Division of Supportive and Palliative Care is conducting research projects to improve health services for patients with cancer and other serious illnesses. This advertisement is for a Research Fellow to work on an NMRC Population Health Grant funded project. The overall aim of this project is to assess the implementation potential and gather data on the effectiveness of a range of possible palliative care screening criteria both among healthcare providers and in a prospective cohort of patients with cancer, heart failure and chronic kidney disease. Requirements:
1. PhD degree, preferably in a healthcare or biomedical field;
2. Prior experience in nursing or allied health is highly desirable;
3. Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact with participants and clinicians at all levels;
4. Motivated, independent and hardworking individual with a keen interest to gain experience in health services research and build research skills in relevant areas such as mixed methods, implementation science and data analytics using routinely collected real-world data.
