Our client is a leading International Main Contractor with an outstanding track record in delivering top quality Tunnel, MRT, Expressway, Airport and Rail Projects. Due to another contract win, they need a suitably experienced and qualified WSHO to join their team.
Job description:
- Monitor construction sites and enforce compliance with government regulations, acts and standards.
- Facilitate site compliance according to the Health and Safety Standards and requirements
- Liaise with client’s EHS representative and ensure all site personnel follow and comply with their EHS policies and procedures.
- Attend meetings- tool box, daily close out meeting sub con safety supervisors, weekly sub-con meeting, Weekly HSE meeting, sub con interview and kick off meeting, monthly WSH meeting, risk management review meeting and Management Review Meeting(once every two months).
- Liaise with government authorites to resolve the worksite safety issues. Liaise with safety auditors.
- Generally work in either an office environment or on a construction site. Within an office, they set and review health and safety guidelines in order to minimize accidents and injuries.
- may travel to construction sites to conduct safety audits.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Workplace Safety & Health or equivalent
- Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer with MOM
- Minimum 5 years of WSHO experience
- Good communications & interpersonal skills
- 6 days' work week
